    Students studying Polish at the University of Glasgow celebrated the centenary of Poland regaining its independence.

    Students studying Polish at the University of Glasgow celebrated the centenary of Poland regaining its independence. An imaginative presentations were prepared and delivered on the topic of 'Regaining Independence in 1918'.

    Dr Elwira Grossman with the help of Ms Beata Subczak also run a Student Photo Competition on ‘Poland’s Presence in Scotland’ to highlight the Polish Scottish links. Winners received prizes and were congratulated by Dr Grossman and Mr Ireneusz Truszkowski, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Edinburgh.
